In Chrohn’s disease people may experience:

We Love to Help Our Community and Our Calendula Kids.

“Calendula Kids” came about because I wanted to introduce children to Food Medicine.

Calendula Officinalis is a good companion herb in the vegetable garden and also a fabulous ointment for cuts, bruises, itchy bites, eczema and more….

So with a group of 8 young boys from a local primary school, we grew the flowers, harvested them and dried them, made infused oil and then made ointment.

This ointment became a great fund raiser for the school and 8 local 9 year old boys know as “The Big C Boys” became experts at making Food Medicine.

Now I want to continue this work and expand it into every school in NZ.
